The Shure-Step 2 Step Stool measures 24″ x 13.5″ at the base. It weighs 12 pounds and is load rated for 500 pounds. One half of this step is 6″ high and one half is 10′ high. Meaning you would step up 6″ to the first step and then step up 4″ to the second or top step. The first step up measures 12″ x 13″, the top step measures 11″ x 12″.
